SARCAR Geneva - "The Impossible Skin Diver" Circa 1970

A magnificent and extremely rare example from the Swiss manufacture, Sarcar, a true collector's item produced in very limited numbers. The model presented today is currently the only one in circulation.

Produced approximately between 1968 and 1973.

Founded in 1948 by Carlos Sarzano, the first respective letters of his name and surname gave the brand its name: Sarcar.
Sarcar specializes in the creation of high-end watches, sometimes custom-made, also offering complex setting creations.
During this period, Sarcar produced many examples, including the Dress Watch, sometimes more simplistic.

From 1974, after the death of its founder, Sarcar focused mainly on crafting pieces for an exclusive clientele.

The example presented here is therefore the result of an unusual development by the firm.

As the photos are taken in macro at different times of the day, the renderings depending on the light offer the full range of shades that this example can offer.
