Revue Type Tank Grey Dial - Art Deco WWII N.O.S (Thommen SA - Revue Thommen)
A magnificent example from the Thommen SA manufacture, known today as Revue Thommen. The "Revue" trademark was registered by Thommen SA in 1910.
Despite its unprecedented growth and numerous technical achievements, particularly in alloy development for watch components, Thommen SA was known for its precise but classic watches. The "Revue-Sport" range was therefore launched, offering models of various shapes, with a focus on steel, anti-magnetic cases.
This particular example dates from approximately 1937 and is in N.O.S. condition. This piece was part of a watch stock, some of which were intended for German forces. They were never worn or distributed. The original tag is still present.
Due to its age, the watch exhibits minute micro-flaws resulting from transportation and storage over nearly 100 years.
