Omega Chronograph Faceted Lugs 1940s - (2276-1) 27CHRO
A specimen rarely seen, especially in this condition.
A model from the Omega manufacture, first appearing in the catalog in 1949, equipped with the historic 27CHRO movement, developed jointly with Lemania, later renamed Caliber 320 for subsequent models.
The embedded movement bears a numbering starting with 9XXXXXX, which allows us to date its manufacture to 1941.
It appears to have been cased in 1949 following the catalog release of the double sub-dial chronograph range.
A true historical watchmaking piece, with no other models currently in circulation, particularly in this finish, possessing these "Faceted Lugs" which slightly resemble "Crab Lugs".
