Junghans Tank Tonneau Type - Art Deco German Military WWII N.O.S

Sale price€570,00

Junghans: the German watchmaking giant.

Manufacture founded in 1861 in Schramberg by Erhard Junghans and Jakob Zeller Tobler. Initially a manufacturer of watch parts, Junghans later moved into the production of wristwatches following its expansion.

An example dating from 1935 intended for the German forces, Tank-Art Deco type with magnificent shapes and exceptional finish.

We are in the presence of a N.O.S. model. An extremely rare model, even more so in this state of preservation. A watch from a watchmaker's stock intended for the German armed forces, never worn. Unpolished, entirely original, original tag present.

The age of the watch means that there are still tiny micro imperfections due to its transportation and storage for nearly 100 years.

Only the strap has been changed for a new, laminated strap.

Manual winding mechanical movement: Junghans 96
Movement serviced, optimal amplitudes and drifts.

Case dimensions: 24.5mm (with crown) / 37mm (lug to lug)

Chromed metal case, showing some imperfections (see photos)
Stainless steel case back, clipped.
Slightly curved lugs.

White-ecru dial, magnificent rendering depending on the light.
Pastel green Arabic numeral indexes, slight patina.
Blued hands, syringe-leaf type.
Small seconds at 6 o'clock, with a blued hand.
Graduated internal minute track, railway type.

Black laminated strap, genuine leather, new.
Steel pin buckle.

Example in excellent condition, both aesthetically and mechanically.

Sold alone.
