Junghans Tank Type - Art Deco Tonneau German Military WWII
Junghans: The German Watchmaking Giant
Manufacture founded in 1861 in Schramberg by Erhard Junghans and Jakob Zeller Tobler. Initially a manufacturer of watch components, Junghans later ventured into wristwatch production following its expansion.
An example dating approximately from 1935, a Tank-Art Deco type with magnificent forms and exceptional finishing.
We have a N.O.S. model. A rare model, especially in this state of preservation. The watch comes from a watchmaker's stock, some of which were intended for the German armed forces, never worn.
Due to its age, the watch nevertheless shows tiny micro-imperfections caused by its transport and storage for nearly 100 years.
