Arsa Type Calatrava - WWII Military N.O.S (Auguste Reymond)

Sale price€490,00

Exceptional example from the ARSA (Auguste Reymond SA) manufacture, dating from the late 1940s.

In 1918, the company became a SA (public limited company) and was renamed Manufacture d’horlogerie A. Reymond SA. Auguste Reymond was the chairman of the board of directors.

In 1921, A. Reymond SA registered the ARSA and SILVANA brands.
The Auguste Reymond SA manufacture then offered 3 different ranges distributed among their various brands:
- "Silvana" was oriented towards the economical watch range.
- "Speranza" represented the mid-range.
- "Arsa" represented the high-end of the manufacture.

We are in the presence here of an example dating from the 1930s-40s. In N.O.S. condition.
This example was part of a watchmaker's stock, some other examples of which were intended for German forces. They were never worn or distributed.
